Since 1970, Bob has held various sales and sales management positions. As National Accounts Manager for the Needlecraft Division of the Quaker Oats Company, Bob serviced the headquarters of many chain retailers such as Walmart, K-Mart, Eckerd Drug, and True Value Hardware. Since 1982, Bob has worked as an independent manufacturers representative selling both consumer and industrial products with a special emphasis on the RV, Boating, Apparel, Contract Sewing, and Retail Craft Markets. Customers include such firms as Kimball International, Flexsteel Furniture, Winnebago Industries, Carver Yachts, Jansport, and Cintas Corporation.
Bob has an BSBA degree with a specialty in marketing from Thomas A. Edison College and a MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
Gerry Parran
Gerry is a career sales professional having held a variety of sales and sales management positions for consulting and information technology organizations including Hewlett-Packard, Deloitte & Touche, and Crowe Chizek.
Clients developed and served in the retail / consumer packaged goods segment included Sears, Tru*Serv / True Value Hardware, Walgreens, Quaker Oats, Shopko, Wm. Wrigley, Unilever, Kraft, Bradford Exchange, Edward Don and Company, and Wilton Industries.
For The Material Source, Gerry specializes in developing and serving the contract sewing, tent & awning, uniform & apparel, and industrial textiles markets.
Also, for select organizations, Gerry consults on improving the effectiveness of sales forces, sales programs, and sales processes. He also does public speaking on sales and leadership themes.
Gerry has a BS in Communications with a management specialization from Ohio University and an MBA with a marketing specialization from Lewis University.
